Based on the client’s requirements and the technical condition of the instrument, we offer repairs as an intermediate step between maintenance and a full reconstruction (general overhaul). The aim of the repair is to restore full functionality to all components, albeit with certain compromises.

For comprehensive reconstructions (general overhauls), we respect the artistic value of the instrument, emphasizing its sound characteristics and the aesthetics of the period in which it was built. By combining traditional methods with the implementation of modern, high-quality materials, we create a fully functional and technically reliable system.

Our priorities include the silent operation of blowers and achieving the fastest possible response and playing sensitivity in instruments with pneumatic action. During reconstructions, we replace all membranes and leather seals regardless of their current functionality. This ensures uniform quality across all components.

We tailor the tuning to the overall sound characteristics of the instrument. In cases where new stops are added or existing ones are replaced, we strive to complement the original concept of the organ and its overall design composition in a tasteful and stylistic manner.

For the visual aspects of the organ case and the console, we collaborate closely with an architect to ensure the final realization harmoniously aligns with the artistic style of the church.

A comprehensive reconstruction of organs includes:
  • Dismantling of the instrument
  • Comprehensive repair
  • Replacement of components
  • Treatment of wooden parts
  • Thorough cleaning
  • Repair of the pipework
  • Intonation and tuning
  • Optional painting or gilding of the organ case
